Flashback to January 18, 2018 (When I began my writing prompts)
....And I am back my darlings! I am sorry, lol I just noticed I have not posted anything on my blog since March last year! By the way, I received great feedback on my last post which was in honor of International Women's Day the day before. For those of you who have not read it, please go read it! Alright, so back to my current post. Every Christmas, my sister and I give each other small gifts, every Friday before Christmas day, kind of like a Secret Santa. It could be anything: a cup, Twizzlers, nail polish, socks, or in this case, a writing journal with 300 writing prompts. I cannot explain to you how much I absolutely loved this gift! And she knew I would love it too, so I assume that is why she got it for me.
This journal makes me think of things I have not necessarily thought of before, and also forces me to write! I love writing but my schedule is so hectic, I usually never get around to it. However, this year I have minimized the number of goals I have and put more focus on my bigger goals, one of them includes writing everyday. With that said, from now on, please expect me to write even a small short paragraph answering my writing prompt for the day lol =). Also some time later on this year, I plan to start a "Book Blog" - you know, kind of like book club but instead us meeting in person, I will proceed with my thoughts and summary online, Thursdays with Alexa lol. It is hard to find people that want to start a book club with you, so I have decided I will just start one with my fellow bloggers and readers.
So what is your favorite way to spend a lazy day? (First prompt in the journal)
Technically a lazy day means I would not be doing a single thing at all, just be lazy. However, knowing myself, I would think of absolutely everything that I cannot do on a non-lazy day. Lol
But if I were to actually follow through, my lazy day would go as follows:
wake up around 8:30 or 8:45 AM, stay in bed for an extra 15 minutes
take a very long shower, put on a nice outfit, and spray on some delicious perfume
go to breakfast with my sister, brother or friends, please do not forget the mimosas ;-)
stroll around the city for a bit to digest the food
go back home to water my plants (because there is a very big chance I might have forgotten to do so that morning)
say hi to my security guard friends downstairs and bring them coffee, or maybe some Green Tea shots (why not)
by this time it should be like 1:00 PM, grab a bathing suit and head out to a hotel for an all day spa
get my eyebrows threaded, legs waxed, manicure and pedicure, etc.
go to the quiet room to get in an hour or so of reading, maybe nap for 30 minutes
get a TWO HOUR massage (including someone to play with my hair lol)
after the lovely massage, jump in the pool and then sauna, then take a shower and get hair done by a hair stylist (as you can tell, I do not want to raise a finger)
I am not too big on make up, actually, I do not wear anything besides lipstick and occasionally mascara or eyeliner, so once my hair is done, I will just need to apply some vibrant RED lipstick (these are my favorites- I suggest Beso from Stila or Crimson from Urban Decay Vice or Cruella from NARS ), some mascara (Grandiose from Lancome is amazing), and another beautiful outfit, and voila, ready for dinner and cocktails. It should be 7:30 PM by now.
after dinner go watch a movie, either at home or the movies (Aventura AMC is my favorite)
Snack, then hop in bed and there is my Lazy Day.
What about you guys? I would love to hear more ideas for a successful lazy day.
